About the Role

At Marco is seeking a high-level Videographer with a cinematic eye and a deep technical understanding of video workflows. This role is for an experienced shooter-editor who can capture dynamic, emotionally driven content using Sony cameras in S-Log at 10-bit and execute flawless edits in DaVinci Resolve 20.

You must know how to color grade, create seamless transitions, and apply story-forward editing techniques that elevate client campaigns across web, social, and branded films. This is not a beginner role—we’re looking for a visual technician with taste, precision, and narrative skill.

What You’ll Do

• Film brand, lifestyle, and campaign content on Sony mirrorless cinema-ready equipment using S-Log 10-bit profiles
• Execute full post-production edits using DaVinci Resolve 20, including audio syncing, color grading, transitions, and export
• Apply advanced editing techniques including speed ramping, motion tracking, and dynamic transitions
• Organize and manage media, timelines, and deliverables based on project needs
• Collaborate with our creative director, producers, and clients to align on tone, story, and goals
• Help capture BTS content or social cuts when needed during larger productions
• Maintain consistency, quality, and creative direction across all video assets
• Handle on-set responsibilities, from lighting setups to sound as needed for smaller shoots

Requirements

• Proven experience shooting with Sony Alpha-series or FX-series cameras in S-Log at 10-bit depth
• Mastery of DaVinci Resolve 20 as your primary editing and color platform
• Demonstrated skill in color grading, node-based workflows, and project organization
• Strong knowledge of speed ramps, tracking, keyframes, and advanced transitions
• Highly organized with ability to manage assets and timelines across multiple client projects
• Exceptional visual storytelling skills; strong reel or portfolio required
• Comfortable working independently on shoots and collaborating in post with a creative team
• Must own Sony gear and a workstation capable of handling professional Resolve workflows

Bonus if You Have

• Experience working with LUT creation and custom grading
• Studio lighting experience
• Familiarity with motion graphics or simple animation
• Experience directing small crews or talent
• Sound design or scoring capabilities
